Asna Nusrat (she/her) is a writer from Karachi, Pakistan. She writes fiction, nonfiction, and translations in English and Urdu. Her novel-in-progress explores the strangeness of feminine desire and her nonfiction is centered on the immigrant experience, debts and disease. She served as an editor for Hayden's Ferry Review from 2021-2024. Her translations and poetic renditions have been published on Thousand Languages Project website and Lakeer magazine. She completed her MFA in Fiction in 2024 and is currently pursuing a PhD at University of Georgia.
