C.T. Salazar is a poet and librarian from Mississippi. His debut collection Headless John the Baptist Hitchhiking (Acre Books 2022) was a 2023 finalist for the Theodore Roethke Memorial Award. C.T. is a 2025 SouthArts State Fellow and has received awards and support from Press On's Southern Movement Media Fund, the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters award in poetry, and the Smithsonian Institute's Rural Initiative. C.T. is an assistant professor at the Mississippi University for Women where he serves as the Office of Undergraduate Research Coordinator and Digital Scholarship Librarian.
