Lacey Lyons is a freelance writer based in Nashville, Tennessee. She is the storybook coordinator for The Tennessee Health Care Campaign, a statewide health care advocacy group. Her writing has also been published by Shirley Ryan Ability Lab and in STAT News. She serves as the editor for author Dianne Liuzzi Hagan and has conducted disability rights and disability justice advocacy for organizations like Disability Rights Tennessee, The Arc, and The National Endowment for the Arts, among others. She taught English with an emphasis in disability studies at Belmont University for ten years.
